What a session actually looks like.

Four kinds of help, each one hour, one to one, by video. Here's what happens in each.

Proofreading

A careful read of work you've already written, for clarity, grammar and whether the argument lands.

In a session

You send the draft. We read it before we meet, then go through it section by section — what's working, what a marker will stumble on, and what to change. You leave with a marked-up copy and a short list of edits.

Guided academic writing

Help planning and shaping an assignment from the brief to the final draft.

In a session

We start from the brief and the marking criteria, because most lost marks are there. Then we build an outline together, agree what each section has to do, and you write it. The next session reviews what you wrote.

Concept explanation

The thing from the lecture that didn't land, explained until it does.

In a session

You name the concept. We explain it from the ground up, in plain terms, using examples from your own field or workplace. We then check it stuck by having you explain it back.

Specialised support

Literature reviews, referencing, methodology sections, and viva preparation.

In a session

For the parts of academic work that have their own rules. We cover how to search, how to read fast and keep notes you can use, and how to reference without losing an evening to it.

Not sure which you need?

That's what the free call is for. Sometimes the answer is one session, not a package.
